We are so excited to be preparing for our annual “Host-A-Tree” event and wanted to invite you to join in again this year.
As a reminder, your church, business or organization can “Host-A-Tree” for Compassion Closet!
Here’s how it works:
- Let us know if you’d like a packet. The packet contains at least 50 ornaments to hang on your Christmas tree, 2 collection signs, our annual wishlist, and 20 donation flyers (new this year!).
- Set up your Christmas decor and add the ornaments to your tree!
- Have customers/members select an ornament off the tree. They can either purchase the item or give a financial donation to cover the cost of the item (this is especially appreciated for the larger items).
- Collect donations throughout the holiday season. You are welcome to begin/end your collection whenever is best for your organization.
- Contact me to arrange a drop-off or pick-up of your donations once your collection time is over.
As noted, each packet will include at least 50 ornaments. If you would like more than 50, just let me know and I’ll be sure to include additional ones in your packet.
This year, 20 donation flyers are also included. These will be available for those who may prefer to make a financial donation, rather than purchase an item.
